Dears,
We had Aironet 1832 and bought another one to connect to existing one. The problem is FW on the new one newer than master one.
When I try to update them I receive Contract verification failed. How can I update the FW on these devices?
Thank you very much in advance.
Izac

I got it. Well, unfortunately you need to have a contract.
What I suggest is you to do is downgrade your newer AP to 8.2 and then join both.
8.2 is not an old image actually.

Ok, let me get this straight. You want to download the firmware 8.5.105.0 but you can't because you don't have a valid Service Contract that allows you to download anything.
Here's a workaround:
Carefully read the Cisco Security Advisory called "Multiple Vulnerabilities in Wi-Fi Protected Access and Wi-Fi Protected Access II" and scroll down to the "Customers Without Service Contracts" section. Read very, very carefully the first two paragraphs with emphasis on the second paragraph.
Hope this helps.

No @Izac ICT
Which version do you have and to which are you upgrading?
When you say FW what is means?

Dear @Flavio Miranda ;
I mean firmware with FW. I'm sorry if it is created confusion. They are both Aironet 1832 series and the one have previously 8.2 firmware version, the new one has 8.3 firmware version.
The first one is working as master and second one needs to join. They need to have same firmware. When I want to update them via GUI from Cisco.com, it find Release 8.5.105.0 version but when I want to apply the update it says "contract verification failed".
I also tried to download from cisco.com but again it states that I need to buy contract to download it.
They state that Controller and APs should have same firmware to create a bound.
Hopefully Cisco can give me a link and I can apply it via TFTP.
Kind regards,
Isac

Read the instruction(s) I have provided. Think of it like a secret password to enter a secret bar. The Entitlements Team needs to be told of the link to say that you don't have a Service Contract and under the Security Advisory, you are are want the fix version for KRACK.
If you don't follow what is instructed by Cisco, the Entitlements Team will happily ignore you.
