I have been trying to get a Aironet 350 MiniPCI working with WPA-PSK . [IBM T41 notebook, WinXP SP2].
I have got another (older) notebook [HP nc6000 with winXP SP1] working without problems so I am confident of the overall access point setup.
However, despite Windows Wireless Zero Config apparently showing WPA-PSK / TKIP being supported it doesn't work (despite 3 hours of checking, firmware updates, reboots etc). I am now running V1.7 of the wizard (firmware 5.60.21).
I installed the ACU - and found out that WPA-PSK is not a configuration option, which made me suspicious whether WPA-PSK is actually supported.
A lot of Cisco documentation reading both implied it was, and it wasn't (references below).
So, can anyone confirm whether it is or isn't supported? In reading the documentation - I think it is designed to be supported, but the fact it doesn't work and the ACU doesn't support it makes me sceptical!
If it is supported, any ideas on why she don't work?
[I might also mention the notebook and wireless card have been happily running WEP with this access point for a long time.]

It contains:
"WPA supports two mutually exclusive key management types: WPA and WPA-Pre-shared key (WPA-PSK). Using WPA key management, clients and the authentication server authenticate to each other using an EAP authentication method, and the client and server generate a pairwise master key (PMK). The server generates the PMK dynamically and passes it to the access point. Using WPA-PSK key management, however, you configure a pre-shared key on both the client and the access point, and that pre-shared key is used as the PMK.
Only 350 series and CB20A cards that are installed on computers running Windows 2000 or XP and running LEAP, EAP-FAST, or host-based EAP authentication can be used with WPA. Support for WPA is available in the software components included in Install Wizard version 1.2 or later. However, if you want to use host-based EAP authentication with WPA, you must install additional software with WPA support. ..."
[reading this carefully it seems to see out of the two types of WPA it only supports the EAP types]

In appendix E of the release notes it directly implies it is supported via the WIndows Zero config utility
"WPA-PSK—Enables WPA Pre-shared key (WPA-PSK), which enables your client adapter to associate to access points using WPA-PSK. ... "
