I have subject mentioned products. I am getting trouble to use Apple AirPrint.
The printer has confirm AirPrint facility, since if I connect that printer with Ruckus AP.
I configured basic configuration for mDNS at WLC. The printer shows under _ipp_tcp.local. but AirPrint did not find that printer though Printer and iPhone both connected under the same AP with same SSID. IP address assigned from a designated DHCP server which belongs to different network.
WLC Software version: 8.0.120.0
Any technical help regarding topology and configuration will be helpful.

Hi
To get Airprint to work via mDNS you need to enable query on two services, both exist by default on the WLC:
Service name Service String
AirPrint _ipp._tcp.local.
HP_Photosmart_Printer_1 _universal._sub._ipp._tcp.local.

Hello Lars Christensen
Thanks for the information. On the other hand I enabled both and found mentioned printer registered under "AirPrint _ipp._tcp.local."
Those printers registered under "HP_Photosmart_Printer_1 _universal._sub._ipp._tcp.local." is discover-able using AirPrint.
Waiting for further help and findings.

A possibility could be that the printer is advertising through the service string "_printer._tcp.local."
The printers we advertise on our WLC, a cloud printer from a printserver and a couple of printers connected wireless all use the "_ipp._tcp.local." and "_universal._sub._ipp._tcp.local." service strings. The only problem we ran into was when the printserver advertised all its 250 printers, the cloudprinter didn't show up since the IPhones wouldn't show more than 10-15 printers.
Besides that, the only thing I can think of would be to make sure the mDNS profile attached to the WLAN has the necessary service strings attached. The profile below is the one we use to snoop/advertise Airplay, Airprint and Chromecast.

Dear Lars Christensen
Please look at the below information which may help you to explore more. On the other hand we have only 3 printer available for such service. Also troubled printer is adjacent with service string "_printer._tcp.local."

Hi anisuzzamanb
One of our Cisco Wireless experts recommend to have a look to the deployment guide: http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/wireless/technology/bonjour/7-5/Bonjour_Gateway_Phase-2_WLC_software_release_7-5.html

Dear Brother(s),
My WLC software version is 8.0.120.0 and I tried with those too. Though it is I believe I might miss some critical point while configuring those which causes such scenario
For you further information I am running WLC at the DC and AP's are allocated to our different office quarters and those are connected via L3/Router. Thus those AP have different IP for AP management and the users are getting IP direct from the DC end DHCP server. So traffic are traveling via CAPWAP from client to WLC.
Waiting for further guidance.

Bonjour is Apple’s service discovery protocol which locates devices such as printers, other computers, and the services that those devices offer on a local network using multicast Domain Name System (mDNS) service records.
Bonjour Phase 2 for 7.5 release is an enhancement to Bonjour features introduced in 7.4 release. Bonjour feature includes the following:
