Anchor Controller WebAuth Custom Page Question

Ryan Curry

I have a, hopefully, quick question for the community.  I'm working on migrating our public wireless to a new controller and everything is working EXCEPT when the user is redirected to the WebAuth page, they're redirected to https://1.1.1.1  Since the cert on the appliance is self signed, the users get the "do you want to trust this page" message before they can accept the terms.  Is there a way I can redirect the users to the non-secure site?  I'm currently running code version 7.5.102.0 on the anchor controller.

Thanks in advance!

yes there is.  you can disable secureweb for webauth..

config network web-auth secureweb disable

Thanks Stephen - I actually went down this road but found it didn't redirect to the non-secure site.  Now that I disabled it again and rebooted the controller it's working.  Seems it was the reboot I was missing.

I greatly appreciate you help!
