Anchor Foriegn WLC routing

Hello experts,

What is required from routing perspective between AncHor WLC(DMZ) and foreign WLC (Internal).

which ports ?

is there anything else required to setup anchor/foreign setup?

You must allow these ports on the firewall

  • Legacy mobility: IP Protocol 97 for user data traffic, UDP Port 16666

  • New mobility: UDP Port 16666 and 16667

You can verify the same by doing 'mping <ip>' and 'eping <ip>' from the WLC to verify the reachability
