Antenna range distance

Hi All

I have AP3500e serises and I need to cover distance up to 300m in directional point. I was trying to find any materials about distance which are covered by different types of antennas but I can't . I think I will prefer to use external antena , but can I get a converter from RP-TNC to N type connector.

So many questions and can't find the answer.

Thank you in advance

300 metres, point-to-point???   Are you sending traffic to another WAP 300 meters away or are you trying to get coverage to clients 300 metres away?

Hi

I'm trying to cover an are which is around 300m from the building where the AP will be. At the moment there is no power

in building where one laptop will be in use.

Won't work.

The clients (300 metres away) can "hear" the WAP, however, the WAP will NOT be able to "hear" the clients from 300 metres away because the client's antenna is not that powerful.

Although I dont know your requirements but what you are asking wont work. Perhaps you can use a bridge..

Than you.

In that case I will be able to use 2 ap. One AP3500 with external antena ( outdoor) and second outdoor AP.

The question remains which type oh antenas I should use?
