AP and wIPS AP in the same area but connected to different WLC

Hi everyone,

I need everyone's advice. Does this solution work properly?
For the building 1 floor 10, have 10 AP and 2 wIPS AP. AP joined WLC A (5520) and wIPS AP joined WLC B (9800) that integrates with DNA Center for aWIPS capability.

Is it possible for the wIPS AP to protect network in situations such as DDOS and Flood Auth, even if they are connected to different WLCs?

It will work if you statically add the APs' BSSIDs on the ct5520 as trusted (via RADIUS server or marking them as trusted in DNAC) and/or you add the SSIDs to an Allow List.
