Dear all,
its not my first config or location but with the 2600 I have now a problem.
Any ideas?
*Mar 1 00:17:04.255: %CAPWAP-3-DHCP_RENEW: Could not discover WLC using DHCP IP. Renewing DHCP IP.
*Mar 1 00:17:07.327: %DHCP-6-ADDRESS_ASSIGN: Interface BVI1 assigned DHCP address 10.X.Y.101, mask 255.255.255.0, hostname APc08c.6024.cfc8
Translating "CISCO-CAPWAP-CONTROLLER"...domain server (255.255.255.255)
*Mar 1 00:17:14.255: %CAPWAP-5-DHCP_OPTION_43: Controller address 10.A.B.30 obtained through DHCP
The AP will use the 10.A.B.30 as Controller...when I enter the Controller IP manually it works..
best regards,
Sebastian

Error msg you saw when booting AP is not normal. Try delete NVRAM config of your AP & see.
AP#debug capwap console cli
AP#erase /all nvram:
If none of these work, I would format flash & bring it back. Steps listed in below post

In my office it works fine, attach to network, wait a few minuntes and BAM it is on my WLC just via DHCP option.., so there is something with the DHCP setting on that site I guess...I will find it out and check it once again ;)...
thanks to all..
