AP Fallback - Controller

We are setting our Lightweight APs with Primary, Seconday and Tertiary controllers in order to have failover. Since we are doing this, can I disable "AP fallback"?

If we were to lose all controllers, Primary, Seconday and Tertiary , where would the APs connect to? (we have a total of 16 controllers)

Thanks

For the first part. No you don't want to disable AP Fallback. AP Fallback allows the AP to rejoin it's primary controller when it comes back online. If you disable it, when the primary comes online, it will not automatically move back.

As for the other question, if you lose three of your controllers at once, you could go into DNS or option 43, however you are directing your AP's to join a controller, and change that to different controller that is not overloaded on AP's yet.

HTH,
Steve
