AP Locator.....

Quick question, is there any feature in the Air IOS on the WLC or AP that would provide a "location service" or something of that nature?

For example, if you cant find the 10th AP but you can see in managed in your WLC.  Maybe a signal that sends a beep to the AP or makes the light flash to help find it.

I have to imagine that something like this exists (so I hope)!  If so, is it dependent on firmware code, AP model, WLC model?  Any information would be greatly appreciated.

config ap led-state flash ?

      The duration of LED flashing in seconds <1-3600>

indefinite     Indefinite flashing of the LED

disable        Stop flashing the LED

so config ap led-state flash indefinite < ap name >

Again, thanks for the helpful tip!  So just to clarify, there is no such thing as a "noise" location service?
