Hi,

A basic question need your help,

The Aironet 1300 AP/Bridge supports VLAN and other advance features such as fast secure roaming, but I wonder where are the differences from the features perspective between AP only mode from Root Bridge with client mode?

For example, If 1300 in root bridge with client mode which at the same time has non-root bridge and wireless clients associates to it, could the wireless clients associate root bridge using SSID ex:citizen=VLAN1 differ from the non-root bridge's infrastructure SSID ex:tsunami=native VLAN=VLAN 7 ?

Thanks

Arun

Bridge mode is a superset of AP. In other words, the function provided by AP mode is provided by bridge mode as well. However, 1310 in AP mode does not associate any wireless bridges.
