AP password

i need to know Air-cap-702i required a username and password or not ?

and if need password , what is the default password ?

The part of the model,"CAP" means the AP is lightweight and requires a controller to function.  Most all access points defualt username and password is Cisco/Cisco.

If when you boot up the AP, you see it trying to find a controller, then you need a controller.  You can convert that AP to autonomous, but you need to be able to download the code with your CCO.

If you console into the AP and issue a show version, the k9w7 is autonomous and the k9w8 is lightweight.  The conversion process once you download the autonomous image is all over the internet.  Just search for lightweight to autonomous
