We have a strange behaviour with some of the 55 APs Cisco 1131 LWAPP deployed in several cities related to power management.
The scenario is as follows:
- APs (Cisco 1131 with LWAPP) are using Cisco PoE, and are connected to Cisco 2960 switches.
- In the WLC, there are several options related to PoE management. We selected "Override" in all of the APs.
52 of 55 APs are working quite well, but we have 3 APs (in two different cities) that randomly shutdown by themselves. If we reconnect and power up the APs, after some time (from minutes to days) they shutdown again.
Can the AP shutdown by itself (insufficient power issue)? Is there any log (in the AP or in the WLC) related to the power off?
I don't think about electrical problems with wires because the installation is certified (see attachment).
