AP/WLC reboot required if changing Auth Called Station ID Type

Hi all,

As the title suggests - would we need to reboot a WLC or its AP's if we change the highlighted field?  I've read the associated configuration guide and there's no mention of a reboot but wanted to ask those in the field.

No, changing this config does not need any reload of either WLC/AP.

Don't remember marking this as "Accepted" but yep - after making the change no outage noticed or reboots required.

 

  - @darren-oconnor   - Since a couple of months now, VIPS can mark a reply as solution too! 
                                      Which I did do for the reply from @Saikat Nandy     
                                      because I was  already 99% sure that this was not needed , and his reply confirmed that.
                                      I believe the feature is good, (we can even mark our own replies as solutions)
                                     because for instance it can help   
                                     others when getting search results from the community to get useful  info's about a
                                     similar problem or problems,
