Hi,
I installed my AP1030 at my head office and it registered with the WLC4404 and was working fine.
I then sent it to my branch office for installation there and it does not get a TCP/IP address. I even moved it to different ports on the LAN, but to no avail.
The Green power light is blinking and the 2.4 and 5.0 Ghz lights are on.
Any help?
Regards
Dean

Hi ,
can you do debug lwapp events enable ;
does you ap discover the controller address - you might have to use option 43 for controller discovery

Hi,
I did, but the AP did not receive an IP address via DHCP. The manual does not indicate what this specific scenario means, but it came right by leaving the AP on during the night.
Strange behaviour though?
