AP1231 with Linksys Wireless USB Print Server Problems

Hi,

I am having a little issue of the Linksys wireless printe server associating with my AP1231. I have 2 vlans on my AP one using WPA and the other open for printing. My wireless print network will have static ip address, I have local dhcp server on the AP providing ip addesses for the secure clients.

The reason why I have 2 vlans is that the linksys wireless printer server does not support wpa therefor I needed to create a separate vlans for this, of course each vlan has its own ssid.

Has anyone configured something similar to this and why is the wireless print server not associating with the AP. Could someone please provide me with what my config should look like.

I never did this configuration, but may be the print server needs to see the SSID (broadcast SSID), and the SSID for the print server is not the broadcasted one ...

The Aironet AP can wrok in two modes : one with only one beacon, carrying only one SSID (the others SSID are hidden). The other mode (MBSSID mode - recent IOS release) enables the support for one beacon per SSID (limited to 8 SSID).
