Yes I have seen througputs close to that..You can use the Outdoor bridge calc utility to set a data rate that you want and find out how far the bridges can be apart..To check througput you could probably use utilities like Qcheck (from Netiq) which is a free downloadeable tool, put two PCs on either sides running Qcheck and you can test TCp and UDP response and throughput..
