AP1832i cant't upgrade mobility firmware by TFTP server , Controller unable PING (NEWBIE)

Hi all , first thanks for read my topic

 

I am just newbie for Cisco wireless. Let 's start.

 

Now I I have AP1832i(Master AP) Mobility firmware version 8.3  I want upgrade it to 8.5 

so I can't upload to controller system. 

 

My Controller IP  192.168.0.100

My PC IP 192.168.0.200

 

 

 

 

 

I can access by web manage(http) normally .  butt when process uploading  firmware my TFTP server shown "could not open request file for reading"  and controller don't show anything

 

and Controller can't ping to my PC how can I enable ping ?

Upgrade process stuck on this page more than a hour . Nothing happen.

If the controller can not ping the PC then your going to have issues with TFTP

As on same VLAN and you can reach the controller via HTTP from the PC, Im guessing the issue is probably to do with the PCs firewall or antivirus.

 

Windows Firewall is renowned for having issues with ICMP and TFTP.

Try disabling the windows firewall

Make sure that the network type on windows is not public, that its either home or office.

 

Can the PC ping the controller?

Take it TFTP server is running on the PC and the file name is correct?

 

From the Controller try TFTPing the configuration to the PC, this will test if TFTP server is working as well.

 

The other thing to check is the MD5 hash is correct for the image, and you have the right image, whats the images full name
