apple tv mirroring

Sir,

I setup a autonomus AP to let both apple TV and ipad access the wireless network so that ipad can mirror through apple TV.

It works when I use an old aironet 1220 with WEP encryption.

But it does NOT work when I replace the 1220 with a new 2602i, which run 802.11n and aes-ccm encryption. The ipad just does not show the button when you double press home button.

Any idea why?

I think its an issue with the v15... With other AP models, others have had better luck with running the v12.4 than the v15 which is the only autonomous code for the 2602.  Older models like your 1220 can run the v12.x which seems to just work. You might just be better off opening a TAC case and see what they come back with.

you may need to go in and disable igmp snooping

conf t

no ip igmp snooping < IIRC

I've seen this kind of oddity with both CUWN and aIOS.  Sometimes you need to toggle that to make it work

I agree. Ive configured it both enable and disable on CUWN and it worked. But Ive seen in some cases it didnt.

no dot11 igmp snooping-helper
