Bandwidth distribution on Cisco 1200 Access Point

Dear friends,

Our Access point is having a throughput of 54 Mbps.

First of all I just want to know this bandwidth is shared or dedicated.

Second thing some wireless users are having 54Mbps wireless card and some are having 11 Mbps card but practically our observation is on all laptop icon is showing maximum througput of 11 Mbps .

To the best of my knowledge, the bandwidth will shared among the mobile users, but the pipeline will be the 54mbps, out of which you will agree with 11mbps.
