Basic Roaming Question

We want to install a wireless roaming network using 6 1231 AP's. We are going to use WDS with the WDS AP as the radius server also.

We are new to roaming so my question is do we give all the AP's the same SSID and config them exactly the same?

Yes, more or less .... the WDS AP will be the designated master, possible one other as a backup (just adjust the priority) ... but the SSIDs should be the same.

Remember to stagger the channels in adjacent APs to minimize interference.

If you need "Fast, Secure Roaming" then you'll need to use either LEAP or EAP-FAST.
