Best authentication method

Hi,

I'm new the the Cisco AP1200 so please forgive if I ask dumb questions. Anyway...I want to only allow auth users on our network. I need some central way of controlling who is allowed and rolling it out to the APs. I think MAC access lists would probably be the best option since I don't want to fool with user names and pwds. Does anyone know of a utility that will allow me to do that? What about website redirection? Will Ciscos do that?

There are many ways to make authenication possible in a WLAN network.

Network access control using IEEE 802.1x it will the best practice that can be done.

APs can be also be configured with mac-address, You can use a Software like CiscoWorks Wireless LAN Solution Engine.

These all depends on how many users you have and do they shift from AP to AP.

Even configuring Vlans in the AP can increase security.
