I have a BR340 root bridge and a br340 and wbr350 configuration. The BR340 root bridge's bridging mode changed to an access point to add the WBR350. This also has reduced the range of the BR340 root bridge to 1 mile from 6 miles.
How can I regain my broadcast range to 6 miles while keeping all 3 devices communicating simultainiously?
What does a point to multi-point configuration consist of and is this different from what I have described?
Thanks
Jeff

Jeff you will need to use all BR340's if you want to keep your range.
What you have described is a point to multipoint you have one root and multiple non roots.
In a point to point set up you have 1 root and 1 non root only.

I have looked for 340s on Ebay and there are Bridges and Access Points. Are these actually different products or the same product configured differently? Can I use either and maintain my range?
Thanks
Jeff
