Bridging to existing WLC/1140 system

Could we use an 1140 or a 1230 to bridge or relay (no network drop) to an existing WLC system?

you can configure it as a workgroup bridge or a repeater, not as a direct wireless bridge.

A workgroup bridge would work.

That is workstations to AP then AP to AP(s) of current system, with no wired ethernet to AP?

Will the AP be in autonomous mode and can you point me to the docs for doing this - is it the WLC config guide?

Can an LWAP 1140 be re-configured as an autonomous AP if necessary?
