Hello, I have a C9105AXW-B access point configured for office extend. When the AP is joined to an AireOS WLC (8.10.185.0) in office extend it doesn't broadcast a local personal SSID. When I join the AP to an IOS WLC (17.9.5) in office extend mode I see an SSID broadcast called "Cisco-HomeWiFi-<last4mac>". I have tried the command controller command "ap name <apname> clear-personal-ssid" as well as the gui button on the config to clear the personal SSID. I can't get this SSID to disappear unless I connect locally to the AP and disable it there. Does anyone have any recommendations on how I can stop this SSID from broadcasting in IOS WLC?

Thank you for the information, but the commands referenced in that document don't seem to work"
ap name apname clear-personal-ssid
also the button in the GUI doesn't seem to work either to clear it.

- Why don't you want to have the "Cisco-HomeWiFi-<last4mac>" SSID as such ?
