C9800-CL crash due to high CPU - ucode_pkt+

Hi community,

I would like to discuss with you about a problem of a crash of a WLC 9800 CL in 17.03.02a and I would like to understand if I am following the right path.
Before the crash the WLC logs showed a long list of:

Jul 20 16:35:30.576: AUTH-FEAT-SWITCH-CORE-EVENT: [Ca186] Null sb; port-control-auto not enabled!
Jul 20 16:35:30.576: AUTH-FEAT-SWITCH-PM-EVENT: [Ca44] link up deferred handler
Jul 20 16:35:30.576: AUTH-FEAT-SWITCH-CORE-EVENT: [Ca44] is cts enabled:FALSE
Jul 20 16:35:30.576: AUTH-FEAT-SWITCH-CORE-EVENT: [Ca44] is mka uplink port:FALSE

Several tracebacks appeared at the time of the crash but I can't find any files by analyzing the crashinfo.
I came to think that the problem could be caused by the promiscuous mode of VMWare because the show proc cpu platform shows very high values of the ucode_pkt + process, like > 100%.
Have you had similar experiences with the 17.03.02a?

Let me know what you think and thank you very much. Regards.

 - Using the hypervisor-monitoring tools check the cl-vm machine resources, make sure sufficient resources (cpu , mem. ....) are available at all times.
