Okay, here is a quick question. How is the best way to calculate vertical beam width for wireless antenna's.
Here is an example. Let's say you have a 12db OMNI with a 7 degree V beam width. It's mounted on a pole 100' in the air. .25 miles away we have a 13db Yagi with a 25 degree vertial width. The Yagi is mounted 30 feet in the air.
So, basically how would I calculate at what distance would the signal for the OMNI would hit the yagi?
