Hi Everyone !
I have an issue with Cisco 1832i AP. I already set the SSID for my AP. PCs and Mobile Phones also connected to my AP and could access the internet. But, when I tried to access the AP's IP address for manage some config, I can't login to it. Nothing happen when I clicked the Login Button.
Can anyone help?
Thanks before.

Have you verified that you don't have any duplicate address by chance that is using the management ip? Have you tried to reboot the AP?

Hi Scott.
The IP address I used for management IP is also the IP address of the AP which it get from DHCP server. Should I use different IP address for AP's IP and management IP?

No you don't need to do that. Is the SSID mapped to the same vlan or do you have it mapped to a different vlan? If so, you need to trunk the port and have the management vlan as native. I'm guessing you probably have it trunked?

The SSID mapped to management vlan. I only used one SSID for employee network and it mapped to management vlan. I have not configured the trunk mode. Does it need to be trunked? I don't really understand with "trunk the port".
I thougt that I just need to set the SSID, and it will work as well. And later, if I need to change the config, I just need to access the management IP from web browser. Am I right?
But I can't Login to it. The authentication didn't appear when I clicked the Login Button.

Okay well it's setup right. The clients are in the same vlan as the AP, so if you can't access the AP, try to clear your browser cache and or try a different browser. Did you try to reboot the AP?

I have tried to clear the browser cache and different browser. But it still can't login.
How can I reboot the AP? Does unplug the ethernet cable could be count as reboot? If yes, I already did it. I thought that the AP rebooted itself after we set the SSID.

Okay well as long as the AP powers down and powers back up, that counts for a reboot. Take a look at this other thread. You might have to upgrade:

I've upgrade the firmware to the latest version too, 8.3.121.0

Your only option is to factory reset and try again. If you still have issues, then open a TAC case.

I've try to factory reset and re-install the flash image. But it comes with same result. The login button can't be pressed.
But one thing that I want to know, why it show as "Office Extend Access Point", not "Wireless LAN Controller" as show in the guide?

Thanks.

That's a known issue. If you search the forum for Mobility Express OfficeExtend login you will find additional information. Have you tried to open a TAC case?

I didn't find any related issue in the forum.
What is TAC case? How should I do?
