can upload all images first before upgrade cisco 2504 from 8.0.x to 8.5.x?

Hi, we need to upgrade 2504 from 8.0.x to 8.5.x. so we have conduct 2 times upgrade , first --> 8.3.x, then upgrade from 8.3.x --> 8.5.x . every upgrade need to upload 2 image , 1 is controller image, and another one is AP bundle image( for some AP model). Here question is can we upload all 4 images to controller first, then choose image as primary to do upgrading? Please advise, thanks in advance.

Upgrade to the interim version 8.2.16X.X.

When upgrading to the interim version, 8.2.16X.X, there is no need to upload the AP bundle for 8.2.16X.X.
After successfully upgraded to 8.2.16X.X, upload 8.5.X.X firmware, the AP bundle for 8.5.X.X and then reboot.

thanks @Leo Laohoo . Now 8.2.16x is replaced by 8.2.170.0. So we can upgrade to 8.2.170.0 without bundle AP image, then upgrade to 8.5.x with bundle AP image,right? Thanks in advance.
