Hi,

Power Type/Mode: PoE/Low Power (degraded mode)" : means  access point is not operating at full power.

Reboot AP and Please provide the AP console output while this is happening. That will tells us clear reason why its happening ?

Hi,

*Mar  1 00:01:16.151: %CDP_PD-4-POWER_OK: 15.4 W power - NEGOTIATED inline power source

I don't see any problem with Power supply.

Do you have any radio down or  ?? if yes then also paste the output from WLC: sh sysinfo

If the access point is not operating at full power, the trap contains “PoE Status: degraded operation.”

You can power an access point by a Cisco prestandard 15-W switch with Power over Ethernet (PoE) by entering this command:

config ap power pre-standard {enable | disable} {all | Cisco_AP}

What you are actually seeing here is bug CSCus44831 this is due to the 1702 wanting 16.8 watts (you would need poe+, 802.3at, for this) to power the AUX port. This was fixed in 8.1 and 8.0.115.12 let me know if you have any questions about this.
