Hi there,

May i have your expertise to know why CAPWAP is not joined to the centralized WLC.

AP  Model and IOS ver :

Our configuration is like this , CAPWAP AP is behind the nat router and AP will joint to the WLC via option 43.

ip dhcp pool Management
import all
network 192.168.1.0 255.255.255.0
default-router 192.168.1.1
dns-server 8.8.8.8 8.8.4.4
option 43 hex f104.81xx.0axx

AP is detectable from switch by cdp neighbor . It has assigned ip addres and PAT using port-5246 but no 5247 .

NAT-Router#sho ip nat tran | s 192.168.1.44
udp 129.x.88.x:5798 192.168.1.44:5272 129.x.10.x:5246 129.x.10.x:5246
udp 129.x.88.x:5798 192.168.1.44:5272 129.x.10.x:5246 129.x.10.x:5246

 - Check ap and controller compatibility with : https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/wireless/compatibility/matrix/compatibility-matrix.html , what is the controller model you are using. Post AP boot-process and check the controller logs too when the AP tries to join.
