Ceiling mount AP - None of the above

I'm over in a new building in Europe and the intent is to mount a bunch of APs to the suspended ceiling.  Problem is, however, that the mounting bracket that comes with the 3600 series is typically for mounting on an exposed T rail, and this system has no such rail.  The tiles are white metal screens that appear to 2x2'.  The edges of two individual tiles are inserted into a hidden rail, and an AP mounting bracket would need to be thin enough to also fit into this channel.  As it stands my options appear to mount the APS above the ceiling or to drill holes into the ceiling tiles.  I'm not too keen on either option.

We have the same type of tile in part of one of our hospitals, we had to s.c.r.e.w (apparently cisco doesn't allow the me to say that without the dots) the mounting plate directly into the tiles, the t-rail clip is useless for this type of tile. I don't think putting APs above false ceilings is something we would consider.
