Certificate errors on autonomous to lightweight conversion

I have begun testing the conversion of our Aironet 1130 AP's from autonomous to lightweight mode. The converstion tool runs successfully and the converted AP correctly discovers the controller. Upon an LWAPP join request, however, the controller (a 4404 100 AP model) reports back "LWAPP Join-Request does not include valid certificate." The upgrade tool made mention that it created all the appropriate certificates.

Suggestions?

You can (did you try) ensuring that the date/time in the controller is current (use NTP whenever possible). If the date/time is off, the certs may bnot be within a valid date range.
