Certificate etc in upgrading code in WLC5500

Hi In router or switches, we do not need to take care of certificate when upgrading ios. Do you you think we also do not need to take care of certificate etc when upgrading code 8.0.152.0 in WLC5500(in redundancy) ?. Thank you.

Certificates are stored in different "partition". Firmware are stored in another different "partition". So upgrading the firmware won't touch other partition.

Leo is right. As long as you are not factory defaulting the unit, the certificate will stay through upgrades and downgrades.
