I have 3 1100 APs that time out in the middle of upgrading IOS, and the firmware that's on there now does not fully function. I'm able to telnet in issue commands to the AP, but that's about it.
I cracked one open and noticed that there is a 4pin connector next to the Ethernet port. Is this a console connection? If so what's the pinout for it?
I have a 4th AP that has had the flash memory erased and I can't get it to do anything. Is there anyway to write the firmware to memory? Perhaps copy the flash contents from another AP to this one?
