Hi,
I am trying to configure 1832i AP as vWLC using Mobility Express. It broadcasts SSID "CiscoAirProvisoining" and I do initial configurations. On submitting the configuration to AP, it shows me message that configurations have been saved and system shall reboat in 60 second.
After reboot, it does not broadcast any SSID, neither give me access over ethernet link.
The Cisco AireOS Version 8.5.103.0
Can any one help me setting up this vWLC?

I am pingin the gateway from the AP client..my question is why there is lot of differences between 1100 series and 1800 series in terms of communications? Is there any setting I need to change in order to improve the wireless network? Appreciate for your suggestion as always :)
Thanks,
Rishi

On the AP specifically don't think so as the AP receives all the config from WLC and all of them receive the same configuration.
I'd say that this can be a network problem.
Try to see on the switch where the AP is connected if there are any error. Also, verify your cable between AP and switch.
If you are using cisco Switch try to show the port config here and the output of "show interface status"

Please go to controllers monitor option >>statics >> and see the ap join option where you will get the Access points behaviour if it joins the controller it will show you ap join and if not you will find the ip address also if dhcp is mismatching from your defined network through controller....

Hi Miranda,
Nither the WLC nor the AP detecting the AP/controller.
Please suggest.
