Hi all,

I have here in the work a wireless lan controller and 4 access points in the network. Everything was working fine until yesterday ( and I don´t know why...)

The leds of the ports of the controller are blinking and the status led is blinking and orange.

The problems remains If i reboot the equipment.

If I connect to the console port the following appears:

Anyone knows what is the problem? What's happen?

What is the solution?

Best regards

Hi Milton,

An Amber/Orange Status LED indicates a failure on boot of the 2100 WLC:

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/wireless/controller/2100/quick/guide/ctrl206q.html#wp39363

If the unit is responding properly to console, it's possible we could recover it. However, that output does not look promising. Also double check that your serial settings are correct :

9600 baud

8 data bits

No flow control

1 stop bit

No parity

If the console is not responsive, we're looking at a hardware failure and you should contact the TAC.

I think you're right. The problem must be a hardware failure.. I will contact the TAC

Thanks for your help.
