1130, 1040, 1140, 1250, 3500, 1260 as well as the 1230.

Just what are you trying to do?

is it possible to connect LAP-1042n  to WLC 2504?? Can it be fully managed by WLC 2504?

Thanks in advance...

So with  AIR-AP1242AG-A-K9 I am out of luck?

Hello,

No you are not out of luck, the 1240 series is also fully supported with the 2500 WLC (and all current WLC platforms). It looks like Leo forgot that one in his post above.

Now, to address Teymur's question -- you can absolutely connect, manage, and configure 1040 series APs with the 2500 WLC.

Oh, your part number of your access point ''AIR" is autonmous. You will need to conver that access point to LWAPP/CAPWAP if you want to use it on the WLC. (just and fyi).

Yes.  As Patrick has pointed out, I forgot to put the 1240 in the list.  You should be fine.

The 2500 controller uses the 7.0.X firmware so if you read the 7.0.X release notes, you should find a list of APs that are fully supported by this model.

Hi,

I have a Cisco AIR-CAP1602I-Z-K9 access point and trying to join it to a 2504 WLC but cannot. Is this setup possible? From the software release guide Release 7.0.220.0, I cannot see the 1602 AP listed.

Please advice.

Cheers

John

The 1602's require v7.4... see the matrix below which you should keep handy.

Thanks,

Does anyone at Cisco have an IOS that I can use as this is getting frustrating for the client?

You can ask with your cisco supplier then can provide you the the new software for WLC.

Regards

thanks.
