Cisco 3300 & smartphones

hi guys,

Here are my questions:

- can the cisco 3300 (MSE) track smartphones like iphone and android?

- are these smartphones considered as RFID tags?

- are there any indoor RTLS systems that can track smartphones?

Yes the MSE can track phones if they are on the wifi, they will be seen as a client just like a laptop would. Now if they stay on 3G/4G then no we wouldn't be able to track them
