cisco 352 card problem against symbol 4131

Hi,

We runned into some problem when using cisco 352 cards which are connecting to an Symbol AP 4131.

The Symbol AP has the latest firmvare.

Problem is that we can´t ping between two clients on the same WLAN with Cisco 352.

The Symbol AP is setup with 4 V-lan´s, each with it own ESSID using WEP 128.

If we look in the AP all cisco 352 card are assosiated correctly.

If we setup one client with Symbol spectrum 24 card, we can ping it from the cisco client no problem!!.

And strange enough, as long as the cisco client is in the arp cache of the Symbol client we can ping the other way.

When the arp cache is empty it is not possibel to ping to the cisco anymore.

We have setup a small network with only one AP no switches or other things.

Any idea is welcome, since we exhausted all of our own.

Lastly we put up an cisco AP with same setup, no problem!!

However our client is using Symbol AP:s.

The ARP cache should have MAC address of the clients you are connecting to or use the ARP request to find the address of the clients.otherwise it is not possible to transfer packets.
