Cisco 4402 issue with wireless.

Hi all,

I need you help on the issue which i am facin.

I have guest users wireless access and when I connect to the access point,It does prompt me for the username and passowrd I enter and then it tries to connect to internet and then does nothing.

Is this issue with the AP? or  somethin to do with WLC controller?

Anyhelp would be appriciated.

Fariha,

     Couple things to try.

1. Disable the authentication on the guest SSID and see if you can internet
2. Browse to an IP address an not a domain name.
3. While on the "guest" do a traceroute or ping and see if you can get beyond your network
4. Try linking the guest to an internal SSID that can get to the internet

Either a DNS issue or that VLAN does not have Internet access.
