Hi all! I am getting 2 Cisco 5508 WLAN Controllers not too long from now, But I have some questions to ask.
1. Can I have both controllers on the same AP Manager Network?
2. Do I need a special cable for connecting the 2 WLAN Controllers, or just an ethernet cable?
3. Do the DHCP Options in Microsoft DHCP server need to set for both WLAN Controllers, as in the 1st WLC set as the primary WLC, and the 2nd WLC as the fallback WLC?
Best regards,
Ian

If you are talking about HA SSO, then yes. Both WLC Management IP address must be in the same subnet.

The RP must be in the same Layer 2 network and connects using a straight-through cable.

- Additionally you only need DHCP option 43 being set to the active WLC
