Cisco_9800_WLC_Initial_Setup_Issue

Hello community,

I have an issue with Cisco 9800 WLC initial setup, when I click finish in the configuration wizard after completing all the steps I get this error, but when I go the CLI I find all the configurations that I have done with the configuration wizard. And when I tried to re-enter to the GUI with the service port address I should reconfigure the initial setup.

Note: I can't test the access with the management address because we don't have the sfp for the moment to do this test.

Thank you for your support

 - When you can see the config at the CLI , save it (write mem) , and reload(reboot) , see if it still checks, I presume in this stage there are no production concerns.

Just to add, you should wait until you are ready and have the sfp in hand. Not knowing what model or code your running doesn’t provide us with enough information.  That error can be caused by various things, but if you are familiar with the cli, then go that route.
if you think there is an issue with the GUI, then like what Marce mentioned, go to the cli and issue a write mem.

Just to add, all the 9800 platforms has ethernet Service ports. You can assign a IP to the service port via console and access it directly by wiring your Laptop to the SP port. If you want to skip the initial setup wizard just shutdown both 2.4 and 5 radios in the controller set the AP country and then no shut the radios. After doing this when you access the GUI it will not prompt you to go through the initial setup wizard.
