is it possible to configure cisco aironet 1702i without wireless controller ?????

Yes, it is possible to use it as standalone AP. You need to have autonomous image to do this

eg. ap3g2-k9w7-tar.153-3.JC.tar

If AP came with Lightweight image, then you need to download it from cisco.com, you require valid support contract to get this image.

if i order for buy to cisco for aironet AP 1702i with autonomous image ap3g2-k9w7-tar.153-3.JC.tar then i would be able to configure this 1702i AP as a standalone system....is it???

Dear Sir,

i am using cisco wlan 5508 and ap2702 702...my network is running slow via wireless...and all ap are blinking orange green and blue continuously.....but ap suppose to stay green and when client connected then ap should be change to blue color....before i configured 5508 with ap 2602...is there any major problem...plz sir help me to get out from this problem
