Cisco Aironet 1852i - Mobility Express compatibility

Hi,

i have many Cisco Aironet 1852i (software version AIR-AP1850-K9-ME-8-5-151-0) with Mobility Express.

In this scenario, every access point can be Primary.

I need to buy other access point to expand the network and i would like to integrate them with the existent AP. So, new AP must be able to be Primary or Subordinates.

The supplier told me that 1852i are out of production.

Which AP should i buy to get compatibility with previous AP? Can i buy Aironet 1850i or 1815i?

I need to install the same firmware version on all AP?

Here are the list which you can use as subordinates APs:

Cisco Aironet 700i Series
Cisco Aironet 700w Series
Cisco Aironet 1600 Series
Cisco Aironet 1700 Series
Cisco Aironet 1810W Series
Cisco Aironet 2600 Series
Cisco Aironet 2700 Series
Cisco Aironet 3500 Series
Cisco Aironet 3600 Series
Cisco Aironet 3700 Series

Yes you need to have same software version on all APs.

All subordinate APs will join to 1852 AP/WLC.
