Hi, I bought 2 Aironet 2600i for my WiFi network in an industrial environment.
Today, I connected the first one on my switch and started to configure it.
I don't want to use the advanced functionnalities, just wanted a good wireless connection.
I managed to assign it an static IP and entered the configuation web interface. I don't like CLI, and I want simple configuration.
But I have a problem : I figured out how to create the WiFi network, but the client device "find" the AP, register, but don't get an IP from my DHCP server.
How do I do that ?
I used to configure a WiFi network on Access Points far less advanced than this Cisco, and it's so easy : you set the SSId, the encryption you want (WPA2), the key and voilà, the client devices see the ssid, a key is required and they obtain and IP from my DHCP pool...
Have I missed something ?
If someone can help me, thank you in advance.

You have an external DHCP? o the AP will be the DHCP server?....
-For internal AP DHCP Server here is an example.
AP# configure terminal
AP(config)# ip dhcp excluded-address 172.16.1.100 172.16.1.117
AP(config)# ip dhcp pool wishbone
AP(dhcp-config)# network 172.16.1.0 255.255.255.0
AP(dhcp-config)# lease 10
AP(dhcp-config)# end
-- AND if you have an external DHCP server just remember use the ip-helper addr with the ip of the server and a DefaultGw,
Example.
interface BVI1
ip address x.x.x.x x.x.x.x
ip helper-address y.y.y.y
ip default-gateway z.z.z.z
