Has anyone run into a problem with running the CheckPoint SecureRemote VPN software over a Cisco Aironet 350 PCMCIA adapter before? Any solutions? I've looked all over the CheckPoint and Cisco web sites and just can't seem to find any information related to this specific problem. Interestingly, the SecureRemote client works great over a SOHOWare CableFree 802.11 wireless network (that is what I was using before I upgraded to the 11.b stuff) and the Linksys USB 802.11b NIC but doesn't seem to work over the Aironet 350 card. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!

The Aironet adapter doesnt care what kind of IP it is transferring. I run an IPSEC wireless tunnel from my Aironet 240 card in my notebook daily. Make sure your firmware is current.

Thanks for the feedback and your suggestion. As it turns out (for anyone who may read this in the future and need some assistance with this problem), the firmware in the Linksys router that I use was the issue. Althougth the router supports IPSEC and PPTP pass-through, there was apparently an issue with the Cisco implementation that required a patch to the Linksys firmware to support the Aironet product line. Once I got the patch on, the issue was resolved! The correct version of the firware that you need on the Linksys combined access point and router is 1.37.9b in order to interoperate with the Cisco cards for any IPSEC activity.
