Cisco Aironet 3700 Series --tftp:connection timeout--

Hey guys,

Here's the short version...

Aironet 3700 Series WAP went into a continuous boot loop. Error loading flash mem. Read on multiple forums/posts to reinstall the firmware (there are a ton of helpful guides, that I've used to get me this far). So I setup a tftp server, consoled into WAP w/ Putty (WAP has an IP/Default Router/Sub assigned... however, ping command returns Host Unreachable), and grabbed the firmware file. Pointed the tftp server at the firmware file and grabbed it from multiple other hosts on the network to verify I had it working.

I used the-

I cannot for the life of me, get this access point to grab that file from the tftp server. I've tripled checked the IP and file directory. Used the same IP/directory to tftp from a different host on the network.

tftp_init is set...

No internal firewall, only at the gateway.

I set the tftp server timeout timer to something ridiculous, like 10 minutes.

Any and all help is greatly appreciated, I have very little hair left to pull out.

Hi,

What are you hosting your TFTP server on, windows? You may need to disable firewall for it to respond to ping/tftp requests.

Can the AP ping its gateway and other devices in the network?
