I have a Aironet 350 running 12.2 IOS code, and I would like to connect to it with other wireless devices in "repeater" mode. That is, the Aironet is the root, but the device I am connecting with will be a repeater.
Other companies call this Wireless Distribution System (WDS), and I realize thats not the same as Cisco's "WDS". However, what it does appear to be in "cisco speak" is basically a repeater.
The thing is, I have not been able to get say an Apple Airport Extreme to connect to the Aironet using "WDS". Has anyone had luck with this? I can associate as a regular client, but not as a WDS client.
