Cisco AP 2700-Interface and Drops

Hi,

I have deployed my Cisco 2700 as a Flexconnect AP with WLC 7.6.120.0 code.

The cisco 2700 AP showing two interfaces, gig 0/0 is up and gi 0/1 is down.

my question is what is this g0/1? as i see alot of traffic on this interface even if its down.

Secondly, in gi0/0 i seeing alot of packet drops and interface reset happening. which might be affecting my Piwis testers as sometimes its loses connectivity.

Need your help to diagnose the problem.

Refer this for Auxiliary ethernet port of 2700 AP. This is used to connect any PoE device

You have to use 8.0.x code to  in  order to use it with different vlan that to AP management

What switch model are you using ?
